Thought I would share a few pics from Elliott’s 4th bday party! It was a bug party. We kept it low key since we got him such a big gift and he absolutely loves his new swing set! It was a long time coming too. He wanted to go to the park everyday to swing and slide and so now he can just go in the backyard instead!!! 
I took my little man to the beach the week before school started and here is one of the many captures I got! Btw, he turned 4 yesterday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!!! He had a small party Sunday and I plan to get some pictures posted from that soon (maybe today)! The reason I haven’t been blogging any of my most recent sessions is because I’m working on a brand new website and I’m saving those for that!!! I will start back sharing sessions though so that Jessica will have something to do at work!!! God forbid they actually WORK over there!!!lol

( Aug 28th, 2009 2:54 pm)So…last week was our first week of school! All of the pictures that you see here were at orientation ( I got to stay there with him) but the very last image was his true first day. Can you tell????!!!! It was so hard to leave him. He has been with me since birth and to drop him off at school and walk away with him scared to death was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I went home and got in the bed and cried!!! It would’ve been much better had he actually cried and clung to me but instead he was trying very hard to be a big boy and was desperately trying to hold back the tears. It was the sadest little thing!!!! I know that it will be fine as it already is but those first few days are just heart breaking! On the other hand, it’s so wonderful that I now have more time to give my business the attention it has so badly needed over the past 3 years!!!

Lacey, I know exactly how you feel. Today was Si’s first day. He kept hugging me…but it wasn’t because he was scared. He was trying to make ME feel better about leaving him!
